Pfeiffer Women's Cross Country Finishes 13th at NCAA South Regional
Clinton, Miss. (Nov. 16, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's cross country team finished in 13
th place at the NCAA South Regionals on Saturday in Clinton, Mississippi.
Pfeiffer sophomore
Maddie Hladik was the top Falcon runner, as she finished 41
st in the field of 169 runners in the 6000 meter race at the Choctaw Trails with a time of 23:49.1.
Makayla Borst claimed 45
th place with a 23:55.7 while freshman
Ryan Germain capped her initial cross country campaign with a 24:35.1, good for 65
th place.
With the cross country season complete, Pfeiffer's runners will turn the focus on training and competing in the indoor track and field season, which will begin on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
