Pfeiffer Women's Cross Country Finishes 13^th at NCAA South Regional

Clinton, Miss. (Nov. 16, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's cross country team finished in 13^th place at the NCAA South Regionals on Saturday in Clinton, Mississippi.

Pfeiffer sophomore Maddie Hladik was the top Falcon runner, as she finished 41^st in the field of 169 runners in the 6000 meter race at the Choctaw Trails with a time of 23:49.1.

Makayla Borst claimed 45^th place with a 23:55.7 while freshman Ryan Germain capped her initial cross country campaign with a 24:35.1, good for 65^th place.

With the cross country season complete, Pfeiffer's runners will turn the focus on training and competing in the indoor track and field season, which will begin on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
