Pfeiffer Women's Cross Country Runner Up at USA South Championship
Rocky Mount, N.C. (Nov. 2, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's cross country team claimed a runner-up finish at the USA South Championship on Saturday morning on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University.
Pfeiffer sophomore
Makayla Borst earned First-Team All-USA South honors by finishing fifth with a time of 23:46, the highest finishing Falcon runner. Sophomore teammate
Maddie Hladik finished in eighth place with a 24:01 to earned Second-Team All-USA South honors. Freshman
Ryan Germain also earned Second Team honors by finishing in 10
th place with a 24:55.
Katelyn Lentz claimed 15
th place with a 26:31.3 while
Hayley Borst came in 16
th with a 26:34.2.
Rounding out the Falcons was freshman
Brionna Saunders, who posted a time of 30:24.3 to finish in 31
st.
