MOUNT BERRY, Ga. (Feb. 18, 2024) --Though they had plenty of opportunities, the Pfeiffer baseball team struggled to cash them in, leaving 11 stranded baserunners in a 10-1 loss at the hands of the Berry Vikings on Sunday.

Sam Odum (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Pfeiffer (1-2). Pitcher Badin Gusa was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going six innings, surrendering just one run on eight hits, walking two while striking out four.

Offensively, the Falcons were led by Zach Ferrell, who went 1-for-4 on the day with a double, a walk and an RBI. Sophomore Austin Wood also hit a double in going 1-for-3 at the plate..

HOW IT HAPPENED
