Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Earns 6-3 USA South Win Over Methodist
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 20, 2024)– The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team earned a tough 6-3 USA South win over Methodist University at a sunny Knapp Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon.

THE BASICS
After taking a 2-1 lead following doubles play, Pfeiffer junior
Mathius Dessureau clinched the win for Pfeiffer by winning his match at No. 2 singles over Methodist's Drew Guarnieri in a three-set match, 6-0, 1-6, 6-1.
Also in singles play, Andrews Valdez-Arze won at No. 5 over Decklan Rayner in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. Pfeiffer also got a win at No. 6 with
Mateo Sonaglia's 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Christian Thanovich.
BACK ON COURT
The Falcons will step out of conference for a road match at Johnson & Wales University on Thursday, March 21. First serve is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Charlotte, N.C.
