Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 25, 2024) -- The Pfeiffer University men's soccer team fell 2-1 at home to Virginia State on Wednesday night at Lefko-Mills Field.
The setback drops the Falcons to 2-2-2 on the season..
How it Happened
Pfeiffer grabbed a 1-0 lead when Mo Msiska scored his first career goal in the 47th minute, assisted by junior Jacob Rocha and freshman Alec Paraiso.
The Trojans evened the game on a goal from Shane Roach in the 52nd minute, assisted by Ben Allen.
Virginia State. then went on top 2-1 on Sebastine Daniel's 72nd-minute goal which proved to be the game-winner.
