Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Claims 7-0 Sweep at Randolph-Macon
ASHLAND, Va. (Oct. 25, 2025) — Pfeiffer University continued its dominant start to the season with a commanding 7-0 victory over Randolph-Macon on Saturday morning at the Banks Tennis Center.
The Falcons (2-0) swept all three doubles matches to secure the opening point, then rolled through singles play without dropping a set. Aissult Mukhambetov and
Bogdan Stan led the doubles charge with a 6-2 win at No. 1, while the No. 2 and No. 3 pairs —

Jayden Wellman — each posted 6-0 shutouts.
In singles, Pfeiffer's depth proved overwhelming. Wellman cruised past John Paul Zano 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1, and Mukhambetov earned a win by retirement after leading 6-0 at No. 2. Robles Solis edged Evan Holzmacher 6-2, 7-5 at No. 3, while Burgoyne, Kezen, and Stan each recorded double-bagel victories at positions four through six.
The Falcons have now won 14 of 14 individual matches across their first two dual matches.
Pfeiffer will return to tournament play on Nov. 1 at the Randolph Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.
