Pfeiffer Women's Cross Country Takes Third at USA South Championships
MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Nov. 1, 2025) — Host Pfeiffer University placed third in the team standings at the 2025 USA South Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championships held Saturday on the picturesque 6,000-meter Pfeiffer Cross Country Course..
Led by sophomore
Ryan Germain, who finished 11th overall with a time of 24:41.7, the Falcons tallied 86 points. Junior
Makayla Borst followed closely in 14th place (25:18.7), while
Hayley Borst (17th, 26:15.8),
Katelyn Lentz (20th, 27:52.9), and
Brionna Saunders (24th, 29:26.0) rounded out the scoring five.
Freshman
Lily Bolz also competed, finishing 46th in 33:17.0.
Southern Virginia claimed the team title with 25 points, followed by Meredith College with 30. Pfeiffer's average time of 26:43 and a 4:44 spread between its top five runners demonstrated depth and consistency across the lineup.
By virtue of their finishes, Germain and
Makayla Borst earned USA South All-Conference Third-Team honors.
