Danville, Va. (Nov. 19, 2025) - Pfeiffer University (2–2) fell short in a hard-fought battle against Averett (1–3), dropping a 57–51 women's basketball decision on the road. The Falcons started strong, leading 15–9 after the first quarter, but Averett surged in the second quarter with a 19-point frame to take a 28–26 halftime advantage. Despite a competitive third quarter, Pfeiffer couldn't overcome Averett's late push.
