Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Overwhelms Guilford, 19-6
Misenheimer, N.C. (Feb 26, 2025) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team overwhelmed visiting Guilford College, 19-6 on Wednesday night at an unseasonable warm Lefko-Mills Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter and led 13-3 at the half. Pfeiffer also held the Quakers scoreless in the third quarter and then outscored the opposition 4-3 in the fourth to take the 19-6 nonconference win.
Inside the Box Score
Dylan Sullivan led Pfeiffer by scoring five goals while adding an assist. Not to be outdone,
Andrew Brown managed four goals and three assists, finishing with seven points.Â
Zach Gignac had three goals and an assist while teammates
Nick Pestrichello and
Trent Orr had a pair of goals each.
Khyler Johnson,
Mason Tardiff and
Chase Benton also scored one goal each.
Faceoff specialist
Lee Caldwell had nine ground balls on the night while going 14-of-18 in faceoffs. All told, Pfeiffer had 45 ground balls in the win while Guilford managed 34.
Defensively,
Korbin Hamilton earned the win in goal for Pfeiffer by making six saves in over 56 minutes of play.
