Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Runs Past Lake Forest, 14-8
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 11, 2025) – Pfeiffer University took a 14-8 men's lacrosse win over visiting Lake Forest College on a warm and sunny afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer jumped on the visiting Foresters early, outscoring them 4-1 in the first quarter. Pfeiffer then went on a six-goal binge in the second quarter to take the 10-4 lead at halftime.
The Falcons then outscored Lake Forest 3-1 in the third quarter to boost the lead to 13-5 heading into the fourth quarter.
Lake Forest scored three in the final quarter, as the game ended with Pfeiffer taking the 14-8 win.
Inside the Box Score
Khyler Johnson led Pfeiffer with five goals, as he unleashed seven shots on the Lake Forest goalkeeper.
Teammates
Sam Barbetti and
Mason Tardiff added three goals each, with Tardiff also adding a pair of assists, as he finished with five points.
Trent Orr also had a pair of goals and a pair of assists to finish with four points while
Andrew Brown finished with three points, scoring one goal and adding two assists.
Defensively,
Michael Keane had six ground balls and four caused turnovers and
Jacob Henkel had five caused turnovers and scooped four ground balls.

Lee Caldwell was 9-of-15 on the day, as Pfeiffer finished 13-of-23 on the afternoon at the dot.
