Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Snaps Streak Against Methodist in 6-1 Road Win
Fayetteville, N.C. (March 19, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team snapped a six-match losing streak against Methodist University with a convincing 6-1 road win over the Monarchs on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pfeiffer win over the Monarchs is the first since the Falcons took a 5-4 win in Fayetteville on Feb.15, 2009.

Pfeiffer opened the match by winning two of the three doubles matches to go up 1-0.Â

Sydney Cohen won their match at No. 2 while

In singles play, Pfeiffer won five of the six singles matches to take the win. Ingentio clinched the team win by ousting Methodist's Caitlin Tihanovich at the No. 3 match by a 6-2, 3-6 ,1-0 (10-1) score. Other Pfeiffer winners were

The Next Match
The Falcons will jump back into USA South play on Tuesday, March 18 with a road match at Methodist University. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
