Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Too Much For DePauw in 16-5 Win

Misenheimer, N.C. (March 20, 2025) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team had no trouble with visiting DePauw in a 16-5 nonconference win on a cool and windy Lefko-Mills Field on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After giving up the first goal of the game, Pfeiffer scored nine unanswered goals and never looked back.  Pfeiffer took a 9-2 lead into halftime and stretched the lead to 12-3 in the third quarter.

The Falcons limited DePauw to just 13 shots on goal and forced 27 turnovers in the win.

Inside the Box Score
Senior Mason Tardiff had a huge game for the Falcons, scoring six goals and adding an assist to post seven points.  Dylan Sullivan, Chase Benton and Ethan Miles each had two goals in the win, with Miles adding a game-high three assists.

Pfeiffer dominated faceoffs by going 18-of-25, with Chase Henderson leading the way, winning eight of the nine faceoffs that he took.

Brandon Luft had a team-best four caused turnovers and Michael Keane managed a team-high six ground balls in the win.

Goalkeeper Korbin Hamilton got the win, making seven saves while Ayden Cox had one save.
