Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Suffers Home Setback to N.C. Wesleyan
MIsenheimer, N.C. (April 2, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 home setback to No. 26 N.C. Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
The visiting Bishops opened play by sweeping the three doubles matches. Pfeiffer's
Jayden Wellman and
Aissultan Mukhambetov dropped a close 7-6 match, falling in the tiebreaker 7-5. The No. 3 match was also tight, as
Bogdan Stan and
Andres Valdez-Arze also fell 7-6 with an 8-6 tiebreaker.
NCWU then took the six singles matches in straight sets to secure the 7-0 league win.
The Next Match
Pfeiffer will take to the road for a pair of nonconference matches, first traveling to No. 28 Mary Washington on Saturday, April 5 before concluding play at Randolph-Macon on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
