NCWU Downs Pfeiffer Women's Tennis, 5-2
Misenheimer, N.C. (April 2, 2025)– Visiting N.C. Wesleyan dropped Pfeiffer 5-2 in a USA South women's tennis match on Wednesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
The Falcons took one of the opening doubles matches, with
Haley Ingenito and
Fanny Apostolou winning their No. 3 match by a 6-4 final.
Apostolou, who was recently named USA South Rookie of the Week, was also victorious in her match at No. 4 singles match, downing her NCWU opponent in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4.
Teammate
Riley Isley also won her match at No. 5 singles, outlasting her opponent 6-2, 3-6, 10- with an 11-9 tiebreaker going Isley's way to give her the win.
Sydney Cohen also played well, but fell in her match at No.2 singles by a 2-6, 6-1, 3-6 score in three sets.
The Next Match
Pfeiffer will continue USA South play on Wednesday, April 9 when they travel to Raleigh, N.C. to take on Meredith College. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
