SALISBURY, Md. (May 17.2025) --The Pfeiffer Falcons earned a 2-1 win over Mount Union in eight innings on Saturday morning. The game was resumed after being halted on Friday evening due to severe storms that came through the Salisbury, Md. area.
Senior Emma Bullin (31-5) got the win for Pfeiffer (37-8). The right-hander went eight innings, giving up one run on two hits, allowing three walks and striking out three.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons were trailing 1-0 in the fifth inning when they first put runs on the board. Pfeiffer got an RBI single from C. Cooper, scoring Stewart from second base.
The game remained tied until the bottom of the eighth, when Pfeiffer walked it off when C. Kaminski came across to score.
