St. Mary's City, Md. (May 7, 2025) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team dropped an 18-9 game to St. Mary's College of Maryland in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite leading 3-2 after the first quarter, St. Mary's was able to hold Pfeiffer to just two goals in the second quarter to take a 6-5 lead into halftime.
SMC outscored Pfeiffer 6-4 in the third and shutout the Falcons in the fourth quarter, taking the 18-9 win.
