MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Sept. 12, 2025) — Junior
Jaiden Wright scored the lone goal in the 55th minute to lead Pfeiffer University to a 1-0 men's soccer victory over Shaw University on Thursday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
Wright's goal, his second of the season, came off an assist from sophomore
Wesley Hooker, who led all players with seven shots, including two on target. Pfeiffer (4-0-0) controlled the pace throughout, outshooting Shaw (0-2-0) 15-7 and earning five corner kicks to Shaw's one.
Falcon goalkeeper
Tommaso Cantini made two saves before
Seth Limbert stepped in to finish the match and preserve the shutout, Pfeiffer's second clean sheet of the season.
Shaw managed just two shots on goal, both saved by Cantini, and failed to capitalize on a late offensive push. Pfeiffer's defense, anchored by
Alex Michael and
Adrian Carmona, held firm to secure the win.
Pfeiffer remains unbeaten and will look to extend its streak as they host ODAC foe Randolph in a nonconference match on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 6:00 p.m.
