Pfeiffer University Announces Athletics Schedule Changes

Misenheimer, N.C. (Jan. 30, 2026) – Pfeiffer University Athletics announces schedule changes that effect men's and women's basketball as well as men's lacrosse in advance of another possible round of winter weather this upcoming weekend.

Women's Basketball
The Pfeiffer women's basketball team will postpone their USA South home game with William Peace that was originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2:00 p.m.

That game has been rescheduled for Feb. 5 at 6:00 p.m. in Raleigh , N.C.

Men's Basketball
The Pfeiffer men's basketball team will now face N.C. Wesleyan in a key USA South game on Friday, Jan. 30 at 4:00 p.m. in Merner Gym.

The men's game at William Peace in Raleigh, N.C. will now be played on Feb. 4 at 7:00 p.m.

Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field
The Pfeiffer indoor track and field teams will travel as scheduled to Tryon, N.C. for the ECE Banked is Best Invitational and the Tryon International Complex on Friday, Jan.30.

Men's Lacrosse
The Pfeiffer men's lacrosse team has moved their game with Rhodes College to Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026.  That game will be played on the campus of Life University in Marietta, Ga. at 11:00 a.m.  Additionally, the men's lacrosse team will now open their season at 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Montreat College.
 
Women's Lacrosse
The Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team will travel as scheduled to Columbia College for their first scrimmage of the season on Friday, Jan. 30 at 3:00 p.m.
