Pfeiffer Stays Unbeaten with 16-0 Shutout of Randolph
MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Feb. 25, 2026) — Pfeiffer University remained perfect on the season with a commanding 16–0 victory over Randolph on Wednesday afternoon at a sunny but blustery Lefko-Mills Field.
Pfeiffer (5-0) controlled the match from the opening draw, scoring five first-quarter goals and never slowing down. Freshman
Quinn Branca powered the Falcons' offense with five goals, including the game's first tally at 14:06 of the opening period. Branca consistently pressured Randolph's defense, putting nine shots on goal and collecting five draw controls
Midfielder
Analise Robinson delivered an explosive outing with six goals of her own, scoring in every quarter and generating momentum with three straight first-period strikes. Robinson also picked up five ground balls and caused multiple turnovers as Pfeiffer overwhelmed Randolph in every statistical category.
Senior attacker
Skyla Jo Charette orchestrated much of the offense, finishing with three goals and six assists, giving her a hand in more than half of Pfeiffer's scoring. She added four ground balls and forced turnovers, helping the Falcons dominate possession and transition play.
Senior midfielder
Rylee Honeycutt and junior attacker
Cerys Reid each added goals, with Reid contributing four assists as Pfeiffer built an 8–0 halftime lead and extended the margin to 14–0 entering the final quarter. The Falcons out-shot Randolph 40–4 overall, including 32 shots on goal, while forcing 27 Randolph turnovers.
On the defensive end, freshman goalkeeper
Clara Smith earned the shutout, recording three saves while facing just four shots. Pfeiffer's back line limited Randolph to zero second-half shots on goal and held them scoreless on all clear attempts in the fourth quarter. Pfeiffer collected 29 ground balls and caused 21 turnovers in the victory.
Randolph (0-1) received a strong effort from goalkeeper Mireya Norville, who made 16 saves, but the WildCats were unable to establish offensive momentum and struggled to sustain possessions against Pfeiffer's pressure.
The Falcons will look to keep their early season success going with a Saturday, Feb. 28 road trip to Virginia Wesleyan.
