MISENHEIMER, N.C. — Pfeiffer University surged ahead early behind a dominant first-half attack and cruised to a 20–4 win over rival Greensboro College in women's lacrosse Saturday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
Pfeiffer (8–3, 2–2 USA South) opened with six first-quarter goals and never looked back, outshooting Greensboro 34–13 and forcing 32 Pride turnovers.
Senior attacker
Skyla Jo Charette led the Falcons with six goals and four assists, scoring twice on free-position attempts and adding a goal in each quarter. Freshman
Quinn Branca matched her pace early and finished with six goals and three assists, including four in a decisive second quarter where Pfeiffer scored eight times.
Graduate midfielder
Analise Robinson added five goals, consistently controlling possession with a team-high seven draw controls as the Falcons dominated midfield play. Freshman goalkeeper
Clara Smith anchored the defense with seven saves while allowing just four goals in the full 60 minutes.
Greensboro (2–7, 1–3) managed only four goals—all on man-up opportunities—from Brynly Manwaring (2) and Keira Fenyo (2). The Pride struggled to maintain possession against Pfeiffer's pressure, clearing at just 8-for-14 in the first half and finishing with 32 turnovers overall.
Pfeiffer controlled ground balls 30–18 and scored 18 of its 20 goals at even strength while assisting on 13 of them, showcasing a balanced, efficient offensive unit
