MISENHEIMER, N.C. (March 28, 2026) —
Ethan Miles scored six goals and added four assists, and Pfeiffer rolled to a 23-6 win over Piedmont on Saturday afternoon at Lefko Mills Field in front of a lively crowd at the annual Pfeiffer Lacrosse Alumni Association game.
The Falcons jumped out to control the game early, using a seven-goal first quarter to seize command and never looked back. Pfeiffer scored the first seven goals of the contest and led 7-1 after one period, outshooting Piedmont 14-3 in the opening frame.
Miles was one of four Falcons with multiple goals, while
Dylan Sullivan added five goals and four assists and
Davis Palombo finished with three goals and four assists.

Pfeiffer led 12-3 at halftime after scoring five more times in the second quarter. The Falcons capitalized on extra-man chances throughout the afternoon, converting three times on the man-up and also tallying a man-down goal during the opening period.
Piedmont showed brief offensive spurts in the second and third quarters, led by Trenton Steeves and Grady Eyler, who each scored two goals. Will Isley added two goals for the Lions. Piedmont trailed 18-6 heading into the fourth, however, after Pfeiffer poured in six third-quarter goals.
The Falcons closed the game with five more goals in the final period, highlighted by two additional scores from Miles. Pfeiffer finished with a 53-28 edge in shots and won the ground ball battle 49-32.
Korbin Hamilton earned the win in goal for Pfeiffer, making eight saves in just over 52 minutes of action before giving way to
Robert Hanlon, who stopped all five shots he faced in relief. Piedmont goalkeepers combined for 14 saves.
The win improves Pfeiffer to 10-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in league play while Piedmont drops to 4-7 overall and 2-2.
