Pfeiffer Women Rolls Over William Peace, 23-1

CARY, N.C. (April 11, 2026) — Junior Cerys Reid totaled four goals and six assists as Pfeiffer rolled to a 23-1 road victory over William Peace on Saturday afternoon in USA South women's lacrosse action at the WakeMed Park.

Pfeiffer (10-4, 4-3 USA South) scored the game's first 13 goals and led 13-0 at halftime, controlling possession throughout and limiting William Peace to just three shots for the entire game.
Keiri Velasquez added five goals and an assist for the Falcons, while Analise Robinson scored five times and assisted on three more. Quinn Branca chipped in four goals and an assist, and Skyla Jo Charette finished with two goals and 10 assists as Pfeiffer had eight players score and registered assists on 21 of its 23 goals.

The Falcons struck quickly and often in the opening quarter, building a 5-0 lead behind goals from Reid, Velasquez and Robinson. Pfeiffer followed with an eight-goal second quarter, including four by Robinson, to pull away decisively before halftime.

William Peace (0-10, 0-7) got its only goal early in the third quarter when Elise Langer scored at the 14:23 mark, foiling Pfeiffer's shutout bid.

Pfeiffer goalkeeper Clara Smith earned the win in goal for Pfeiffer, playing the full 60 minutes and allowing one goal while facing three shots on goal. Pfeiffer finished with a 42-3 advantage in shots and held a 29-13 edge in ground balls.

The Falcons continued to apply pressure in the second half, scoring five goals in the third quarter and five more in the fourth while consistently winning draw controls and forcing turnovers.
