SANFORD, N.C. (April 26, 2026) — Pfeiffer University finished fifth at the USA South Women's Golf Championship, posting a three-round total of 1,048 (+184) at the par-72 Lakes Course at Carolina Trace Golf Club.
The Falcons opened the championship with a 342 on Monday, followed by a 360 in Tuesday's second round before closing the tournament with a 346 on Wednesday.
Kirstyn Page led Pfeiffer individually, finishing 11th overall after rounds of 81-85-80 for a total of 246 (+30). Page was Pfeiffer's most consistent performer and matched
Ella Couper with the team's lowest single-round score with an 80 in the final round.
Ella Couper followed closely, placing 14th at 254 (+38). Couper opened the tournament strong with an 80, weathered a difficult second round, and rebounded with an 84 on Wednesday to remain among the top half of the leaderboard.
Morgan Heilig finished 21st at 267 (+51), while
Ashlyn Strickland placed 27th at 281 (+65) after carding rounds in the low-to-mid 90s.
Jordan Blake rounded out Pfeiffer's lineup with a 29th-place finish at 303 (+87).
Piedmont captured the team championship at 945 (+81), led by individual medalist Erin Donovan, who finished at 215 (-1). Huntingdon and Methodist placed second and third, respectively.
