Pfeiffer University

Juarez Leyva enters his second season as a member of the Falcon men's soccer program in 2020 after transferring from Catawba.

Spring 2021 (Junior) - Made eight appearances and started in four matches.  Logged two shots.

2019 (Sophomore) - Started in 15 matches.  Had two goals and two assists on the season.  His first career goal came on Setp. 7 at Rutgers-Newark and his first career assist was in a 7-1 win over Berea on Sept. 28.

2018 (Freshman) - Played in six matches for Catawba.

Prior to Pfeiffer: Played his high school soccer at Piedmont High School for Kash Knight where he earned All-Conference and All-Region honors his senior year.

Played his club soccer for WCWAA and was coached by Jimmy Mumby.  Club team won the 2015 Kepner President's Cup and the Region III President Cup.  Made an appearance in the National President's Cup Tournament.

Personal: Son of Mario Leyva and Maribel Juarez.  Has two siblings, Mario (23) and Jayvin (14). Birthday is Feb. 27.

Interesting Facts:  Is fluent in Spanish.
