Pfeiffer University

Kari Westerbeek enters her fourth season with the Pfeiffer softball program in 2021.

2020 (Junior) - Batted .549 while playing in all 17 games for the Falcons.  She finished with a 1.020 slugging percentage and had eight home runs and a team-best 39 RBI.  Following the season, she earned USA South All-Academic Team honors.
The season was canceled in mid-March due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (Sophomore) - Batted .330 and had a .497 slugging percentage.  She managed 40 RBI on 35 hits, 10 of which were home runs. She also made 6 appearances in the pitching circle, allowing 6 hits in 8 innings of work while striking out 7 batters.
Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors.

2018 (Freshman) -  Recorded a .462 batting average and had a .615 slugging percentage. She managed 18 RBI on 18 hits, two of which were home runs.
Also made seven appearances in the pitching circle, allowing seven hits in 7.1 innings of work while striking out one batter. 

Before Pfeiffer - Played three years at East Duplin High School in Beulaville, N.C. and was coached by Greg Jenkins. 
Earned All-District and All-State honors in each of her seasons.  Earned MVP her sophomore and senior years and was the Most Valuable Offensive Player in her junior year.  Also earned 2A East Player of the Year her senior year.
