Kenneth McHam

Kenneth McHam is in his sixth season as assistant coach at Pfeiffer University and made his debut as the JV men's dead coach in 2021.

Mcham played a significant role in assisting Pfeiffer in winning the 2021 USA South East Division championship in 2021.  

McHam was also intricate in assisting the highly successful 2016-17  team in rising to a NCAA Division II ranking of No. 22 and helped secure an NCAA Division II bid after winning the Conference Carolinas Tournament.  He helped the Falcons set 11 school records while becoming NCAA national leaders in scoring (104.3ppg), total steals (391), forced turnovers (725), and turnover margin (+10.4). 

The Falcons finished that season with an overall record of 26-5.

Prior to Pfeiffer, McHam was an assistant for the highly successful Davidson County Community College for four seasons. 

In 2015-16, the Storm finished as co-champions of their conference in the regular season, then went on to win the District VII champions while earning a 5th place finish at the National Tournament while ending with an overall record of 30-5.

Mcham, a Winston-Salem native, has a bachelor's degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University and has a master’s degree in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned a second master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Pfeiffer University.
