Pfeiffer University

2023-24: Esquivel enters her fourth season with the Pfeiffer Women's Soccer program.

2022: Third season with the falcons.

2021: Did not play

2020: N/A

2019 (Sophomore): Played in 18 matches while making four starts. Scored five goals for the Falcons while taking 26 shots, 16 of which were on goal. Scored three game-winning goals (at Southern Virginia, at Methodist, vs. Salem).

2018 (Freshman): Played in 14 matches for the Falcons where she scored five goals and added an assist. Her first collegiate goal came on Sept. 9 in a 6-0 win over Wesleyan (Ga.). She also scored against Salem, two against N.C. Wesleyan and the game-winner against Washington & Jefferson in the First-Round of the ECAC Tournament. She was named the USA South Rookie of the Week on Oct. 22.

Prior to Pfeiffer: Played her high school soccer at Independence High School in Charlotte for Coach Tyler Gibson where she was a four-year member of the Patriots' team. She scored 30 career goals in 72 gareer matches,  including 10 in her senior season and 12 during her sophomore campaign. She also had 18 career assists including nine in her sophomore season. Also a goalkeeper, she logged over 1,300 minutes in goal while posting a career GAA of 1.782. Played her club soccer with the Charlotte Soccer Academy and was coached by Jack Vundum.

Personal: Daughter of Jose and Ana Esquivel.  Has two siblings, Briana and Ana.

Interesting Facts:  Played saxophone and basketball throughout middle and high school.
