Biography

Tate enters her fourth season with the Pfeiffer volleyball program in 2025.

2024 (Junior) - Played in 29 matches.  Had 202 kills on the season and had a .326 hitting percentage.  Managed 16 aces and also had 95 total blocks (56 block assists, 39 solo.  Had 17 kills against Meredith on Oct. 8.

2023 (Sophomore) - Played in 19 matches... had 136 kills and a .364 hitting percentage.  Contributed 28 block assist and 21 blocks solo.  Also managed 31 digs.

2022 (Freshman) - Saw action in 32 matches... had 184 kills and a .213 hitting percentage.  Also had a pair of aces.  Managed 59 block assists and 13 blocks solo.  Also had a pair of aces and 62 digs.

Prior to Pfeiffer
Played her prep volleyball at Central Davidson High School for coach Monica Parsons

Was an all-conference selection in 2019 and 2021.  Earned conference defensive player of the year awards in 2020 and 2021.
Was the Mid-Piedmont Conference Player of the Year in 2021.

Also participated in women's swimming.

Personal
Daughter of Chris and Rhonda Kay Tate.  Has one sibling.
Brother plays golf at Davidson-Davie Community College.
