HIGH POINT, N.C. - Junior Jaime Siaj was named the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week as announced by the league this morning.

Siaj scored three goals and dished out two assists to push the No. 1 Falcons overall win streak to 27 in a row in two games to open the 2017 campaign. Jaime had a goal and an assist in a season opening 4-1 win over Lander, an NCAA Tournament team a season ago, and added two goals and a helper as Pfeiffer scored four times in a 12:54 span to beat Catawba 4-2 on Sunday.  The junior added 12 shots and seven shots on frame in the two matches.

Siaj and the Falcons return to action on Friday as they travel to Boca Raton, FL to take on Palm Beach Atlantic. The game is a rematch of last year's Elite 8 contest that saw Pfeiffer score with one second remaining to steal a victory and advance to the Final Four.
