Pfeiffer Volleyball Splits a Pair of Home Matches
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 11, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team split a pair of home matches, winning 3-0 (25-10, 25-21, 25-8) over Agnes Scott College while falling to Carolina University 3-0 (16-25, 20-25, 16-25) on Saturday afternoon at Merner Gym

The Falcons had little trouble with the Scotties, limiting ASC to just a .043 hitting percentage while managing a .228 of their own.
Sophomore Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) had a team-best nine kills in the match while hitting .563. Defensively, Shrader also led the Falcons with eight digs.
Freshman Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) had six aces and a team-high 18 assists in the match.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE – Pfeiffer vs. Carolina U
The Falcons struggled, only managing a .123 hitting percentage, while allowing the Bruins to hit for .324.
Shrader again led the attack for the Falcons, as she managed seven kills alongside teammate Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.).
Mayberry again led the way with 16 assists, followed by seven from junior Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.).
