Bob Jones Dampens Homecoming with 5-2 Men's Soccer Win Over Pfeiffer
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 19, 2021) –  Visiting Bob Jones University scored three second half goals after being tied 2-2 at halftime to take a 5-2 win over Pfeiffer University in front of a large homecoming crowd in Misenheimer on Saturday afternoon

Branson Adams (Asheboro, N.C.) gave Pfeiffer a 1-0 lead just eight minutes in after receiving a pass from
Sam Stewart (Belhaven, N.C.) to put Pfeiffer up 1-0.
Bob Jones responded to tie the match at 1-1 on a Jordan Crews goal in the 15
th minute with Rylan Boldt providing the assists.
Stewart would curl a ball past the BJU keeper to give Pfeiffer the 2-1 lead in the 33
rd minute, but the Bruins scored just before halftime to tie it at 2-2 on a Conley Burk tally.
BJU took their first lead of the match when Peter Waddy scored in the 70
th minute. Mario Figueroa added another goal for BJU with Ian Arendse providing the assists.
The final goal of the afternoon came in the 88
th minute when Victor Oladipo scored to provide the 5-2 final.
Falcon goalkeeper
Ali Jaafar (Matthews, N.C.) had seven saves on the afternoon while his BJU counterpart, Chris Monczewski had two saves.
