Pfeiffer Volleyball Takes A Pair of 3-1 Wins in Home Tri-Match
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 4, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team earned a pair of 3-1 wins in a home tri-match, winning the first match over Carolina University and the second match over Ferrum at Merner Gym on Saturday afternoon.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE – Carolina U vs. Pfeiffer
Pfeiffer fell in set one by a 25-16 score but rallied to win three straight sets, going 25-19, 25-13, 25-16.
As a team, Pfeiffer hit for a .258 percentage and had seven blocks. Transfer
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) had a team-high 15 kills. Junior
Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) had eight kills and hit .500. Wyatt also had one solo block and one assisted block in the win.
Freshman
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) had a team-high 20 assists while
Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) had 15 helpers.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE – Ferrum vs. Pfeiffer
Pfeiffer held visiting Ferrum to just a .136 hitting percentage by forcing 15 errors to take a 3-1 (25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 25-13) win in the final match of the day.
The Falcons had three players post double-digit offensive numbers with
Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) leading the way with 15 kills. Freshman
Anya Parker (Fort Mill, S.C.) had 12 kills while Honeycutt managed 10 against the Panthers.
Mayberry once again lead the Falcons with 23 assists with Suttles dishing out 19.
Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) managed 19 digs in the match to lead Pfeiffer.

Pfeiffer will continue their season-opening homestand on Tuesday, Sept. 7, when they host Brevard in a nonconference matchup at 6:00 p.m.
