Pfeiffer Volleyball Cruises Past Brevard, 3-0
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 7, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 nonconference win over Brevard College on Tuesday night in Merner Gym, winning by scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Pfeiffer got a match-high 13 kills from junior
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.), as she managed a .619 hitting percentage on the evening. Teammates
Lauren Shepherd (West End, N.C.) and
Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) each had five kills in the win, with Shepherd recording a .400 percentage and Wyatt posting a .714.
Pfeiffer benefitted form an all-around team effort, with
Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) going for five blocks, Shepherd posting four and Wyatt managing a pair.
Graduate student
Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) had a team-best 11 digs on the night to help the Falcons defensive effort.
Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) and
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) each provided 14 assists for the Falcons.
As a team, Pfeiffer finished with a .300 percentage for the game while limiting the Brevard attack to just a .011 attack efficiency.
