Buena Vista, Va. – Southern Virginia University scored all their goals in the first half of a USA South women's soccer match in  defeating Pfeiffer 4-0 on Friday, Oct. 14 at Knights Stadium in Buena Vista, Va.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
SVU wasted little time, scoring their first goal, an unassisted score, from Matia Murray at 4:41.

The Knights would go up 2-0 at the 9:26 mark on another unassisted goal, this time from Courtney Montes.

Murray would get an assist at 21:06 when Morgan Romney scored her fifth of the season to put SVU up 3-0.  The final goal of the evening came right before halttime, when Lindsey Clausen scored her second of the season at 43:55.

SVU limited Pfeiffer to just one shot on the evening, while taking 19 of their own.

Pfeiffer's lone shot came from freshman Ana Satchell (Conifer, Colo.) while fellow freshman Kaylee Ollis (Morganton, N.C.) managed five saves for the Falcons in the loss.

The Falcons will return to Lefko Field on Wednesday, Oct. 19 for a 7:00 p.m. home match against USA South opponent Meredith College.
