Methodist Takes 3-0 Volleyball Win Over Pfeiffer
Fayetteville, N.C. (Oct. 5, 2022) – Homestanding Methodist University took a 3-0 USA South volleyball win over Pfeiffer University at the Riddle Center in Fayettevlle, N.C. on Tuesday evening.

Freshman
Faith Miller (Clover, S.C.) had a team-best 10 kills to lead the Falcons. Miller finished with a .300 hitting percentage while fellow freshman
Haedyn McGrath (Buford, Ga.) hit for a .545 clip with six kills. Senior's
Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) and
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) each had seven kills in the effort.
The setting duo of senior
Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) and sophomore
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) had 19 and 16 assists, respectively. Mayberry also added three aces in the match.
Defensively,
Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) came away with a team high 15 digs while Honeycutt had 12. Freshman libero
Gabby Edwards (Catawba, N.C.) managed 11 digs to round out the double-digit efforts for the Falcons.

Pfeiffer will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. on Saturday, Oct. 8 for a USA South tri-match hosted by Salem College. The Falcons will take on Meredith College at 2:00 p.m. and will battle host Salem at 4:00 p.m.
