Biography

Burris begins her fourth season as a member of the Falcon volleyball program in 2022.

2021 (Junior) - Had 145 kills and a .297 hitting percentage. Hit for a career-high 16 kills on Sept. 24 against Methodist.  Finished the season with 12 aces, 72 digs and 79 total blocks (15 BS, 64 BA).

2021 - Spring - (Sophomore) - Played in 12 matches.  Had 77 kills and hit for a .275 percentage.  Also had 17 aces and 31 disgs.  Finished with 28 blocks (6 BS, 22 BA).

2019 (Freshman) - Saw significant action in 27 matches.  She returned a .230 hitting percentage and had 165 kills on the season.  She also registered 56 digs had and contributed 47 total blocks (10 solo, 37 block assists).  She also had 24 aces on the season.

USA South Defensive Player of the Week - Sept. 20, 2021

Prior to Pfeiffer -   Played at Gray Stone Day School in Misenheimer, N.C. where she was an all-conference player during her junior and senior years.  She also earned all-conference honors in softball her junior year and in basketball during her senior year.  Also ran track at Gray Stone.

Personal - Daughter of Darnel Burris and Jennifer Bolton.  Has one sibling, Shelby.  Lives 0.2 miles from the Pfeiffer campus.
