Quinn Becraft each scored four goals to help Pfeiffer to a 17-13 win at William Peace in the Falcons' USA South opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons jumped out to a 7-2 lead after the first quarter thanks to three goals from
Treven King (Apex, N.C.).Â
Quinn Becraft (Huntersville, N.C.) added a pair of goals in the first quarter while
Jordan Fitzpatrick (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and
Brayden Sokolowski (Waldorf, Md.) each netted a goal apiece in the frame.
WPU would close to 9-7 at halftime and would claw to within 12-11 at the 7:46 mark with a goal from Brewer Warlick, but Pfeiffer got goals from
Tucker Hill (Victor, N.Y.), and freshmen
Nick Pekins (Columbia, Md.) and
Tyler Ajemian (Fort Mill, S.C.) to push the Falcon lead back to 16-11
WPU would score two more goals in the fourth quarter with
Jacob Leone (Raleigh, N.C.) adding one of his own to provide the 17-13 win for Pfeiffer.

Hill went 30-of-33 in faceoffs and had 21 ground balls in the win. In addition to Becraft's four goals, he dished six assists on the afternoon to finish with 10 total points. Becraft also had six ground balls.
