Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Blows Out Huntingdon
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 27, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team scored 10 first quarter goals and lead 15-0 at halftime en route to a 22-3 USA South blowout of visiting Huntingdon College on Saturday afternoon at Lefko Field

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer started hot by blistering the visiting Hawks 10-0 in the opening quarter. In the quarter,
Quinn Becraft and
Treven King each scored three goals each, with King's first score coming on a man-up opportunity. Faceoff specialist
Tucker Hill,
Jacob Leone and freshmen
Aiden Keenan and
Tyler Ajemian each tallied scores in the quarter.
In the second quarter, the Falcons added five more to lead 15-0 at halftime.
Pfeiffer would then score the first five goals of the third quarter to push the lead to 20-0 before Huntingdon's Caden Bacz scored at 4:21 of the third to make it 20-1.
Michael Werney and
Colby Moorefield notched the final two goals for the falcons in the fourth quarter, with Werney's coming at 11:12 and Moorefield's scored at 6:44.
Inside the Box Score
Pfeiffer dominated every facet of the game, outshooting Huntingdon 51-19 and forced the Hawks into 17 turnovers.
Individually, Becraft led the way with five goals and an assist while King and Ajemian each scored four. Freshman
Aiden Keenan added three goals in the win. Hill went 11-of-13 on faceoffs and had a team-best eight ground balls in the win while
Spencer Stokes came away with a team-best three caused turnovers.
Goalkeeper
Matt Stocks was credited with the win by making one save and allowing no goals in 30 minutes of play.Â
Jason Rowland made five saves in goal for Pfeiffer as he played a majority of the second half.

The Falcons will look to build upon their six-game winning streak this upcoming Wednesday with a USA South road game at Methodist.
Pfeiffer is also on a 12-game USA South regular season winning streak and has also won 14 in a row against USA South opponents.
