Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Rolls Past Methodist
Fayetteville, N.C. (March 31, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team scored on four man-up opportunities in a 12-3 USA South road win at Methodist University on Wednesday afternoon in Fayetteville.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Caleb Connell opened the scoring for Pfeiffer, netting a goal at 7:26. The Pfeiffer lead then jumped to 2-0 on a
Quinn Becraft goal on an assist from
Brayden Sokolowski at 4:35.
Pfeiffer added an
Aiden Keenan goal to go ahead 3-0 at 6:40 of the second quarter. Back-to-back Monarch goals at 5:41 and 5:18 trimmed Pfeiffer's lead to 3-2.
Colin Thonton scored a man-up goal from
Jacob Leone at 3:40 to go up 4-2, but Methodist responded with a down-goal at 2:14 to provide the 4-3 halftime score.
The Falcons took control in the second half, blanking the host Monarchs, while scoring four third quarter goals to go up 8-3.
Another three goals in the fourth quarter, two from
Treven King and one from freshman
Nick Pekins provided the 12-3 final.

Quinn Becraft led the way with three goals and a pair of assists on 14 shots while Treven Kins added three goals of his own.
Faceoff specialist
Tucker Hill was 13-of-17 on faceoffs, earning 14 ground balls while
Mike Turner led the way with a pair of caused turnovers.

Matt Stocks had eight saves on the night to earn his seventh win of the season.
