Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Takes 20-11 Road Win at LaGrange
LaGrange, Ga. (April 17, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team won their third straight USA South game, downing LaGrange by a 20-11 score on the road in LaGrange, Ga.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Homestanding LaGrange got on the board first to make it 1-0 with a goal at 12:24, but that lead was short-lived, as Pfeiffer's
Quinn Becraft knotted the game at 1-1 at 11:28 with an unassisted goal.
The Panthers then went up 3-1 with a pair of back-to-back goals at 8:47 and 7:51, but Pfeiffer went on a six-goal run to end the quarter to take the 6-3 lead. The Falcons then opened the second quarter with two goals at 14:08 and 13:43 to go up 8-3. Three consecutive goals from LaGrange pulled the Panthers to 8-6, but Pfeiffer responded again, this time with a goal from
Nick Pekins with 3:14 left before halftime put Pfeiffer up 9-6 at the break.
Jordan Fitzpatrick opened the third quarter with a goal at 13:57 for the Falcons and following a Lagrange score at 11:41, Pfeiffer's
Brayden Sokolowski notched a pair of scores at 10:31 and 9:34.
Treven King also added a pair of goals that pushed Pfeiffer's lead to 14-8 late in the third quarter.
Leading 15-9 heading into the final quarter, Pfeiffer once again took control early, this time with four straight scores to take the 19-9 lead. LaGrange would score twice more in the waning stages of the game to make it 19-11 but a goal from
Quinn Becraft at 1:28 provided the 20-11 final.

Brayden Sokolowski finished with a team-best six goals on the afternoon and also added an assist while fellow sophomore
Quinn Becraft had five goals and four assists.Â

Faceoff specialist
Tucker Hill finished 26-of-33 on faceoffs and had 19 ground balls. Hill leads the NCAA in all divisions in face-off winning percentage (.822).

Matt Stocks made eight saves while reserve goalkeeper
Jason Rowland also made a pair of saves in the win.
