Pfeiffer Women's Soccer Battles to Scoreless Tie With Guilford

Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 13, 2022) –The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team battled to a scoreless tie with visiting Guilford College on Tuesday evening at Lefko Field.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
The visiting Quakers outshot Pfeiffer 17-6 on the match, but Pfeiffer freshman goalkeeper Kaylee Ollis (Morganton, N.C.) came up big in goal, as she made six saves on the match while her Guilford counterpart, Ady Franken made a pair of saves.

Pfeiffer's best opportunity to notch the game-winner came in the 79^th minute when freshman
Emma LaFave (Jacksonville, N.C.) had a great look at the goal from about 12 yards out, but her shot sailed high over the crossbar.

Ollis came up with a huge save in the 82^nd minute as she ranged to her left to make the play. 

From that point, neither team would manage any more shots, with the game ending in the scoreless draw.
