Roanoke College Deals Pfeiffer Women's Soccer a 5-0 Defeat
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 18, 2022) –Visiting Roanoke College scored a pair of first half goals en route to a
5-0 nonconference win over Pfeiffer University on Saturday evening at Lefko Field.

Roanoke's Brooke Nicholson scored at the 27:15 mark on an assist from teammate Eliza Ryan in what would be the eventual game-winner for the Maroons.
Another Roanoke goal at 30:09 from Morgan O'Neill would push the lead to 2-0.
Following the break, Roanoke would score three more times with O'Neill assisting Cameron Shackford's goal at 56:57.
The Maroons would score at 63:20 and added a penalty kick goal at 78:40 to cap the scoring.
All told, Pfeiffer would be outshot 22-2 with senior's
Kayla Blankenship (Asheboro, N.C.) and
Kelsy Esquivel (Charlotte, N.C.) providing Pfeiffer's shots.
Despite taking the loss, Pfeiffer freshman goalkeeper
Kaylee Ollis (Morganton, N.C.) made a career-high 11 saves.
