Greensboro, N.C. (Sept. 23, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team split a pair of USA South matches on Friday afternoon at Hanes Gym in Greensboro

In the first match of the afternoon, Pfeiffer was limited to just a .199 hitting percentage while NCWU hit for a .201 clip in the win. The Bishops Bijou Patel had a game-high 13 kills while Aubrey Nicholson had 10.
Pfeiffer was led once again by
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) as she had 11 kills, 11 digs and a pair of aces on the match.
Freshman libero
Gabby Edwards (Catawba, N.C.) had 24 digs and senior
Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) had a pair of solo blocks and two block assists in the loss
IN match two, Pfeiffer claimed the 3-2 win over the host Pride. Honeycutt had a team-high 14 kills while Burris had 12 kills to go along with one solo block and another pair of block assists. Honeycutt also had a career-high 25 digs.
Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) also had 10 kills for the Falcons.
Setters
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) and
Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) had 26 and 22 assists respectively.
