Methodist Takes 2-0 Win Over Pfeiffer Men

Fayetteville, N.C. (Oct. 7, 2023)-- The Pfeiffer University men's soccer team fell 2-0 on the road against Methodist University on Saturday night at Duggins Soccer Stadium.

Pfeiffer fell to 3-6-1 overall and 0-3 in USA South play after the defeat while Methodist improves to 6-2-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

How it Happened
The homestanding Monarchs scored twice in the first half and that was all they needed in takign the USA South win.

Senior goalkeeper Ali Jaafar led Pfeiffer with four saves. The Falcons recorded 10 shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Pfeiffer faced 16 Methodist shots, seven of them on goal.
