Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Runs Over Oglethorpe, 14-2
Atlanta, Ga. (Feb. 26, 2023) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team scored eight first half goals and had no trouble with Oglethorpe in a 14-2 nonconference road win in Atlanta, Ga. on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pfeiffer offense was clicking on all cylinders, as the Falcons unleashed 71 shots on the Oglethorpe defense on the afternoon, 56 of which were on goal.
Pfeiffer scored four goals in the first quarter and followed that with another four in the second quarter in taking the 8-0 halftime lead. Three more Falcon goals in the third quarter boosted the lead to 11-0 before Oglethorpe broke through with a score at 2:53 of the quarter.
Pfeiffer then got the next two goals to go up 13-1. Oglethorpe would score their second and final goal at 10:39 of the fourth and Pfeiffer capped the scoring at 1:24 to provide the 14-2 final score.

Eight Falcons scored on the afternoon, led by three goals from junior
Quinn Becraft (Huntersville, N.C.). Becraft had 15 shots and added six ground balls.
Four Falcon players (
Jesse Ondrako, Joey Ondrako, Zach DeFazio, J.P. Galloway) scored a pair of goals each and another two players (
Tucker Hill, Treven King) had one goal each in the win.
Pfeiffer goalkeeper
Nate Woodhill (Hewitt, Texas) made 10 saves while allowing just two goals in earning the win.
