Morton Claims Top-10 Finish at Pfeiffer Spring Invitational

Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. (March 1, 2023) – Pfeiffer University graduate student Austin Morton claimed a top-10 finish at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational held at the Panther's Run Golf Links at the Ocean Ridge Plantation in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.

Morton, from Jacksonville, Fla., had his highest finish of his Falcon career, finishing in a ninth-place tie among 80 golfers by carding a two-round total of 155 (78-77) which was 11 strokes over par.

As a team, Pfeiffer finished in 8^th place out of 15 teams, while Belmont Abbey's "B" team claimed the team title with a two-day 604 (+28)
