Pfeiffer Men's Golf Takes Part in West Pines Collegiate
DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Pfeiffer University wrapped up play at the West Pines Collegiate with a 19th-place finish in a competitive 21-team field at West Pines Golf Club.
The Falcons posted team rounds of 309, 311 and 308 for a three-round total of 928, finishing at 76-over-par on the par-71, 6,739-yard layout.
Tyler Kepley and
Wyatt Reeder led the way for Pfeiffer, each carding identical scores of 228 (+15) to tie for 62nd individually. Reeder rebounded from a second-round 80 with a closing 74, while Kepley posted consistent rounds of 76, 75 and 77.
Tatum North followed with a 235 (+22), tying for 90th, and
Brandon Allen added a 237 (+24) to place 96th.
Jackson Hedrick rounded out the lineup with a 249 (+36), finishing 105th.
Rhodes College claimed the team title with a score of 854 (+2), led by individual medalist Colton O'Dell of Mary Hardin-Baylor, who fired rounds of 70, 65 and 71 to finish at 206 (-7).
With the fall schedule complete, Pfeiffer will turn their focus on the spring season, which kicks off on March 2-3 in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. as the Falcons host the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational at the Panther's Run Golf Links at the Ocean Ridge Plantation.
