Pfeiffer Men's Golf Finishes Third at Shenandoah Fall Invite
WINCHESTER, Va. (Sept. 30, 2025) — The Pfeiffer University men's golf team posted a strong showing at the Shenandoah Fall Invite on Monday, finishing third among 14 teams at Winchester Country Club. The Falcons carded rounds of 289 and 301 for a two-day total of 590, finishing at 22-over-par.
Freshman
Tatum North led the way for Pfeiffer, firing rounds of 71 and 75 to finish at 4-over 146, tying for fifth place individually. The result for Tatum is his second top-five finish of his career.Â
Tyler Kepley and
Lapo D'Amato followed closely, tying for eighth and 14th respectively. Kepley shot 74-73 (147), while D'Amato posted a 71-77 (148).
Wyatt Reeder and
Brandon Allen rounded out the Falcons' scoring lineup, finishing tied for 20th and 23rd. Reeder shot 73-77 (150), and Allen added a consistent 75-76 (151). Freshman
Jonathan Lauritzen, competing as an individual, carded rounds of 79 and 78 to finish tied for 46th at 15-over.
Chowan University claimed the team title with a score of 576 (+8), edging Averett University by two strokes. Averett's Chase Myers earned medalist honors with a 6-under 136 (70-66).
Pfeiffer will close out their fall season when they travel to Douglasville, Ga. to take part in the West Pines Collegaite hosted by Oglethorpe University at the West Pines Golf Club on Oct. 5-7.
