Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Storms Past Methodist, 18-9
Misenheimer, N.C.– The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse got back onto the winning track with an overwhelming 18-9 USA South win over visiting Methodist on Wednesday night at N.E. Lefko Field

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons stormed out to a quick 5-0 lead in the first quarter. J.P Galloway opened the proceedings at 13:35 with an unassisted goal to go up 1-0.Â
Treven King teamed with
Mason Tardiff to make it 2-0 at 11:14.Â
Jesse Ondrako would score at 10:31 followed by a man-up goal at 8:41 by
Zach DeFazio. King would score again, this time at 6:15 to push the lead to 5-0.
Methodist would score their first goal at 4:02 to make the score 5-1, but Pfeiffer responded with another Galloway goal at 3:14 to end the first quarter scoring with Pfeiffer holding the 6-1 advantage.
In the second quarter, Pfeiffer would outscore the Monarchs 4-3 to take the 10-4 lead into halftime.
Pfeiffer then used five third quarter goals to lead 15-5 and scored three more in the fourth quarter to post the 18-9 win.

Nine different Falcons scored in the game, with
Zach DeFazio leading the way with five. J.P Galloway managed four goals and two assists to finish with six overall points.Â
Quinn Becraft and
Treven King each scored two goals while
Nu Kwan Fair,
Jared Butler,
Tyler Ajemian and
Joey Ondrako all scoring one goal. Ondrako would also add a pair of assists.
Faceoff specialist
Tucker Hill had six ground balls on the day and would go 13-of-19 in the faceoff circle while
Kendall Jones forced four Methodist turnovers.
Falcon goalkeeper
Nate Woodhill would make eight saves on the game while
Jason Rowland would made three stops in the win.

The Falcons' game at Greensboro College on April 29 has been canceled and deemed a "no contest".
