Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Begins USA South Tournament With 5-0 Home Win Over William Peace
Misenheimer, N.C. (April 24, 2023) – The third-seeded Pfeiffer University men's tennis team opened the USA South Tournament with a 5-0 win over sixth-seeded William Peace University on Monday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
Playing the Pacers for the second time in as many days, Pfeiffer won all three doubles points and won at the Nos.2 and 4 matches by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Benedikt Pfeiffer won his match at No. 2 singles over Patrick Buckler while freshman
Mateo Sonaglia took down Angel Araiza to clinch the win for the Falcons.
In tournament play, the first team to score five points wins the game. All other matches were left unfinished.

The Falcons will advance to the USA South semifinals to take on second-seeded Southern Virginia University on Thursday, April 27 at 9:00 a.m. at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, N.C.
